 How can an agency use the Section 508 standards to procure ICT?  What tools are available to an agency when procuring ICT?  How does the Buy Accessible Wizard help an agency procure ICT? What does it mean to perform due diligence on a procurement? What questions must an agency answer to conduct a procurement which is compliant with Section 508?  What are the procedures and practices which an agency can follow?

This webinar is an overview of the procurement practices of one agency, Health and Human Services, showing how their team uses Section 508 and the Buy Accessible Wizard to procure accessible ICT. The process demonstrated here is not a recommended best practice, but it is a case study of how one agency implements accessible procurements.  The recommended audience is Chief Information Officers, Chief Acquisition Officers, Agency Policy-Makers and 508 practitioners.
