The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) invites you to a webinar on our recently announced Final Rule to revise the regulations implementing the Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (Section 503). The Section 503 Final Rule changes the affirmative action obligations and responsibilities of federal contractors in several ways, including: establishing a utilization goal for individuals with disabilities; requiring a new data collection pertaining to applicants and hires; and, requiring contractors to invite voluntary self-identification of disability from employees, and from applicants at both the pre-offer and post-offer stages. The Final Rule also makes changes to the definition of “disability” and related terms to bring the 503 regulations into compliance with the ADA Amendments Act of 2008.
