Individuals with disabilities interested in federal employment in the securities regulation and enforcement arena are invited to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Information and Networking Event on Monday, August 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. This event will be held at SEC Headquarters, Multipurpose Room, 100 F St., NE in Washington, DC (Metro Red Line—Union Station).
The event will provide an opportunity to learn more about the SEC’s mission, hear about the agency’s benefits and reasonable accommodations and network with SEC hiring managers. Guests may be considered for current and/or future employment opportunities. Accountants, attorneys, economists, examiners, IT specialists and securities industry professionals are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this networking opportunity.
To participate in this event, you must be eligible for the Schedule A Hiring Authority. In addition, you’ll need to pre-register by providing your full name and resume by July 29 to DisabilityEmploymentProgram@sec.gov. Due to limited space the event is limited to 75 guests.
